We are now open in our brand new building! Hours are 9am-6pm Monday-Friday, and 9am-4pm on Saturday.

We are open an hour early, from 8-9am on Tuesdays for seniors and high risk individuals to shop in a freshly cleaned, less busy environment. Tuesday is also senior discount day–seniors age 60 and above receive 15% off.

The Village Closet, a dream of two sisters, Iris Stern and Janice Colbert, opened in November 1989 at it’s original location in Roaring Spring, PA. The store has been open at it’s current location in Martinsburg, PA since 1991. Sadly, Iris passed away soon after the store relocated. Janice and her family have maintained ownership since.

What began as a small consignment shop has grown to a large department-style store including country home decor, gifts, candles, Melissa & Doug toys, as well as name-brand consignment clothing and shoes.
